Amanda Sachs lives in Pasadena, MD with her husband Kevin and her two cats Joy and Sylvester. In 2003, Amanda graduated from Anne Arundel Community College with her Associates Degree. Then she graduated from University of Baltimore in 2005 with her Bachelor's Degree in Corporate Communications. She works full time as Systems Anyalst / Web Developer. Her free time is spent teaching Holistic Health, designing jewelry, and creating/designing websites.

Amanda has worked with energy fields and meditation since a young child. She has practiced Reiki for 13 years. In 2003, she completed her Usui Reiki Master Training. In 2005, she completed her Karuna Reiki Master Training. She has taught one on one classes with college students, group classes with adults, co-taught /assisted with Dawn Fleming and is currently teaching with Linda Brent. Amanda also teaches meditation and energy awareness for children.
